The Fredericksburg Center for the Creative Arts (FCCA) presents "Child’s Eye View" during November. This all media, juried exhibit will be featured in the FCCA Frederick Gallery, 813 Sophia Street, Fredericksburg, VA. The works of Cat Isham and Millie Lane will be on display in the FCCA Members’ Gallery. The shows open 2 November and runs through 29 November with a First Friday Opening Reception on 7 November from 6-8:30pm. The exhibitions are free and open to the public daily from 12-4pm (except Tuesday and Wednesday when the gallery is closed). FCCA is also open from 11am-4pm on Saturday. The Fredericksburg Area Service League, Inc. is pleased to present our 2nd Annual Merry Market - Holiday Boutique and Gift Market. This holiday shopping event features exhibitors from Virginia and the surrounding southeastern states. Merry Market will be held on Saturday, November 22nd (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and Sunday, November 23rd (11 a.m. to 4 p.m.) at The Jepson Alumni Center at The University of Mary Washington (1119 Hanover Street). Merry Market offers our shoppers an exceptional mix of custom jewelry, handbags, apparel, quality crafters, original artwork, and decorative accessories for the home & garden. We will also have live choral music for you enjoyment. Funds raised from Merry Market will benefit local children's charities such as FASL Books in Hand, Summer Scholars, High School Scholarships and Hospice Camp Rainbow.
